The supplementary document, which was presented for public consultation between 20.07. and 22.09.23, concerns the technical connection conditions for power installations with rated voltage up to 1000 V in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, version 2021.1 and was drawn up on the basis of a joint proposal by the distribution system operators (DSOs) of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg: Creos Luxembourg S.A., Electris par Hoffmann Frères Energie et Bois S.à.r.l., Sudstroum S.à.r.l & Co s.e.c.s., Ville de Diekirch, Ville d’Ettelbruck.
In accordance with Article 5 paragraph (2) of the “Loi modifiée du 1er août 2007 relative à l’organization du marché de l’électricité”, the ILR is responsible for the approval of the TAB-BT in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg following a public consultation.
As part of this public consultation, the Institute received comments from three interested parties, two of which submitted the same contributions. The corresponding contributions were published on the Institute’s website and are summarized below together with the Institute’s positions:

From the resulting amendment proposal, submitted by the distribution system operators on 17.10.23, the amendment aims to:
(a) The specification of the minimum technical requirements for the connection of balcony solar / photovoltaic systems
b) The clarification of several examples for the connection of production and storage systems
c) Implement the Grand-Ducal Regulation of June 30, 2023 establishing statistical methods for determining the production of certain photovoltaic installations
With the publication of the document, the amendments will apply from 04.11.23 and will be implemented in practice.
